Liquid Diet Results

How the liquid diet plan helped me lose 4 stone in weigh in 7 months

It’s important to state that 7 months ago my health and well being were not in a good place. I had had some personal relationship problems and had also suffered from depression.

I am Michael Goodman a 47 year old father of two wonderful children Malcolm and Louise. This is a resume of the journey I took in order to lose 4 stone in seven months and unveils what I believe to be the best kept secret of life-long weight loss.

It’s worth pointing out that I have NOT regained any of the weight I originally lost and my BMI and body fat percentage are perfect according to my own physician.

Thank you for taking in interest in my journey to a better brighter more fulfilled life. I hope by sharing some of this information with you I can help you to similar success with your own personal weight loss and optimal health journey.

For the record here is a comparison of my before and after BMI and body fat percentage:

Prior to intervention:

BMI: 31.4

Total body Fat: 34.5%

Total body weight - 16 Stone

Size 40” waist

In addition to this my blood tests had shown elevated triglycerides, cholesterol and my blood pressure was also moderately high.

Liquid diet results, I am Now:

BMI: 24.5

Total body Fat: 17%

Total body weight - 11 Stone 9 pounds

Size 32” waist

My blood tests now show better than average results for my age, in terms of, cholesterol and triglyceride levels and in addition my physician has congratulated me on the balance of LDL to HDL cholesterol and omega 3 to 6 ratio.

My blood pressure is now excellent too.

If you have read this far you will probably be wondering how I got in such bad shape in the first place.

The answer to that is that I had assumed that all 40 something men in the western world would gain excessive weight as they became older and that it was somehow acceptable and normal for me to do the same.

For a variety of reasons I had fallen into the trap of acceptance and because of that I had willingly given away the power to change my situation.

This conclusion was the most important first step for me to begin to realise that it was my world view that was utterly wrong.

So was it was my fault I was Fat?

Now that doesn’t mean that I was lazy or disinterested in my health, not at all, but I had not given a high enough priority to becoming educated about the causes of weight gain and fat accumulation.

I was therefore blind to the possible solution to my problem.

In late 2011 early 2012 we had a food scandal that meant that those trusted to ensure the safety and efficacy of the prepared food we brought and ate from major supermarkets, failed us, completely.

At this moment I realised that part of the reason for my failing health was the amount of ‘control’ I had given away over the quality and composition of what I ate.

Taking back that control from large food manufacturers seemed like a no brainier of a decision to make. It was however almost a fluke that I eventually stumbled upon a liquid diet plan in order to find a practical solution (no pun intended here) to my problem

The problem being that in order to completely control my own diet it meant initially spending hours preparing and cooking whole foods.

Whilst I will say the foods I ate did taste amazing, whist initially adopting this approach the lack of practicality meant that I couldn’t keep it up on a full time basis.

At the time I was scouring the Internet for help and advice and achieving moderate success with populate diets that could be cooked quickly for my main evening meal.

This was fine till I became busy at work and then I found my meal routine fell apart again beginning with breakfast. I found myself at the mercy of the packet cereals again. I then ate sandwiches for lunch and picked at unhealthy food throughout the day so I was lucky to get one reasonably healthy meal on a working day.

This was the typical diet that had made me fat in the first place.

I had though been impressed by some of the work done by food bloggers, and due to my interest in food and nutrition I decided to get involved and develop my own liquid diet recipe plan.

The inspiration was that none of food-tubers as I like to call them are consistent or original in their liquid recipe creations. Often they incorporated tropical fruits and all; sorts of wired garbage or a myriad of exotic ingredients in a desperate attempt to lose weigh in a week or two.

From what I had leaned this wasn’t going to work. The main reason is that it’s NOT sustainable.

I know I just couldn’t consume cabbage water or mung bean smoothies for more than a day let alone a life time in order to get liquid diet results.

I did though find one dry food breakfast recipe that was fantastic and was gluten and dairy free. This simple recipe has achieved all that millionaire food chefs could not. It combines several natural whole foods that all contribute to supporting the body and preventing hunger and it tasted fantastic too.

This simple meal set the standard by which my liquid diet results had to be measured.

It should:

Contain Natural Whole Foods that satiate hunger

Be simple and fast to prepare and produce

Not be made of expensive hard to find ingredients

I now had a ‘blueprint’ for recipe success, and just had to go make it!

The resulting liquid diet results are all based on these sound ideas and have spring boarded my weight loss success by allowing me to have at least two healthy meals wherever I may be, at home at work or travelling.

The result of my efforts is a range of meals that can be made in minutes and seconds with minimal if any preparation that taste amazing and contain natural whole foods that benefit the whole body.

These recipes have helped me achieve a lasting vision of ideal weight, abundant energy and optimised health. I have adapted and customised many of my recipes and have incorporated a range of ingredients that are shown by scientific studies actively help to reduce body fat.

Many of these super foods are also known to contain a bewildering array of other beneficial compounds that help reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and prevent heart disease and are also known to help protect against certain common diseases.
